We, at Chapel Hill Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) believe in God as the creator of all things, being Sovereign, Holy and the only One, true God.

We believe that Jesus, who is called the Christ, is God's only begotten Son and is the living Word of God, the second part of the triune God, having been with God from the beginning.  Through Him all things were made and by His atoning death on the cross and His Resurrection we can have salvation through faith in Him.

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third part of God and works in us to bring us to the knowledge of our sins and our need for redemption.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, holy Word of God.

We believe all men and women are offered salvation through the blood of Christ.

We believe that the service of Communion is for all believers in Christ and that it is to be taken with a solemn mind and contrite, confessing heart.  We administer baptism, as described in the New Testament. by immersion, but will accept transfer of membership from other churches without requiring full immersion baptism.

As such, we, at Chapel Hill Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), believe in the fellowship of all Christians worldwide, despite denominations.  We are one church, one family under Christ's headship and we serve in His name alone.
